CLAW: a claw from a tiger is a powerful amulet that procure strenght and skill and is particularly useful for men who like gambling. The claw from an eagle wore as amulet is able to give high thoughts, clever intuitions, ambition and power.

AXE: symbol or power and success. The axe was onored by the most ancient people and among what remains from the Stone Age we can find many talismans, sculpted in shape of axe and provided of holes, in way to be able to wear them as necklaces. The sword that in official ceremonies is brought in front of the king is directly derived from the prehistoric axe. Symbol of power. In ancient Rome the axe was not only the symbol of power, but was also the symbol of life and death.

SCALES: in ancient Egypt the scale was used in relation with the worship of Isis, and probably this is the reason that pushed Romans later to represent the Goddess of justice with scales on her hand. As amulet the scale act especially for who suffered from injustice. In additon it can help to open the mind and to be able to see more clearly the various aspects of a problems and to be more skillfull in choosing what is better.

CADUCEUS: is the staff of peace and healing. It is an important amulet that has the power to tame the fightings, heal sickness and give fertility and youth. The God Apollo one day gave to Mercury a staff with a pinecone on the top, symbol of healing and protection, and wings, that wanted to symbolise the flight of human thoughts to the wiseness and knowledge. Apollo sayd that whoever had this staff would have been gifted with an extraordinary ability of speech able to have good influences in who ever would have heard it and able to tame every fight. Armed with this staff Mercury went on the earth and saw two snakes who were fighting. He put his staff between the two snakes and stopped their fight with the power of his words. After it the snakes were added to the staff. They symbolise regeneration: as the snake change its skin, and return to life in a new and brighter status, in the same way the man can throw away fights and evilness to reach new heights of knowedge, peace and wiseness.

BELL: bells are powerful amulets against all kind of evil spirits. They protect everybody, but works even more on young or weak people. The bell is one of the most ancient talisman, and very ancient is also the habit to put children in a place near bells in the strong belief that there they will be perfectly safe because the sound produced by the bells is able to destroy evil forces. Bells were used by phoenicians in many of their rituals and many says that has been the phoenicians to introduce bells in England. There, in druids rituals, the bells had always an important part. Is said that anywhere in the world where there had been a worship of the sun and the moon, there there were also bells. When in Rome, in August festivities, people sacrificed a boar to the Goddess Diana, at the neck of the victim was placed a bell. In many rituals from all around the worls the use of the bell exist, especially for divinatory rituals. Maybe is from this habit that is born the use of reading the future in cup of tea; cups in fact can be seen as bells turned upside down.
Also soldiers used to grant them the help from gods with the sound of bells. Greeks put little bells in the internal part of their shields in way that in battle these would have resounded in honour of the gods.

COAL: a piece of coal is a powerful talisman only if found on a street of given by a friend. The gift is particularly lucky if done the first day of the year. In ancient England was very easy to see in new year eve night many pieces of coal in front of house doors. This pieces were ready for the morning of the first dat if the year. In this way every host coming to that house would have pick a piece of coal and would have brought it inside the house, bringing together good luck for all the family.
